Blue Mondays (10): Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren

Blue Mondays

Monday mornings are the toughest mornings. Knowing the weekend is over and you’ll have to go to school or work again… But here is my solution: Blue Mondays!  Every Monday I will pick an awesome book, which I hope will make the week almost bearable for you. Cause reading it will make you forget about everything else! And before you know it, weekend has started once again ^^

Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren

What do you do when your knight in shining armor lives, literally, in a different world?

Most American teenagers want a vacation in Italy, but the Betarrini sisters have spent every summer of their lives among the romantic hills with their archaeologist parents. Stuck among the rubble of the medieval castles in rural Tuscany, on yet another hot, dusty archaeological site, Gabi and Lia are bored out of their minds…until Gabi places her hand atop a hand print in an ancient tomb and finds herself in fourteenth-century Italy. And worse yet, in the middle of a fierce battle between knights of two opposing forces.

Suddenly Gabi’s summer in Italy is much, much more interesting.

*Sigh* This will be a really hard Monday for me. It’s the beginning of September, which means: my vacation is over! From today onwards I have classes to follow, homework to do and thick, non-fiction, boring books to read. I guess I’m not the only one for whom the vacation has ended. This calls for a very good book to make the week look brighter. Therefore, I’ve chosen one of my all time favorites. A book which, hopefully, will make you feel a lot happier and will soften the hardships of a first week of school!

Waterfall was amazing. It had everything a girl ever wanted: hot Italian knights, a heroic adventure, an active heroine who doesn’t let man dictate her actions. Oh and time travel! It’ll even help you with history in school ^^ Aka the best choice to help you get through the week! This story will suck you in and won’t let you go till you’ve finished it 😉

I’ve already reviewed it, so if you want to find out more before getting it, here’s my review.
