Blue Mondays (7): Dead Embers by T.G. Ayer

Blue Mondays

Monday mornings are the toughest mornings. Knowing the weekend is over and you’ll have to go to school or work again… But here is my solution: Blue Mondays!  Every Monday I will pick an awesome book, which I hope will make the week almost bearable for you. Cause reading it will make you forget about everything else! And before you know it, weekend has started once again ^^

Dead Embers by T.G. Ayer

Valkyrie-in-training Bryn Halbrook just can’t catch a break. With her boyfriend stuck in Hel and the taunting laughter of Loki still ringing in her ears, she struggles to concentrate on her training and duties in Odin‘s realm. The last thing she expects or wants is more adventure—but then treachery, a shocking abduction and a chilling discovery send her forth on another perilous, globe-hopping mission.
As the ultimate battle, Ragnarok, draws closer, it’s a race against time for Bryn, Fenrir and their team to discover who kidnapped her foster-brother from the halls of Asgard and what’s causing the mysterious deaths of so many of Odin’s chosen warriors.

In the exciting sequel to DEAD RADIANCE, Bryn encounters dwarfs and dragons, new friends and old foes—but worst enemy of all may be the person she trusts most!

Okay, what will this week’s Blue Monday book be? For this week I chose Dead Radiance by T.G. Ayer, the second book in the Valkyrie series. I loved reading the first book Dead Radiance (review to come)  and am waiting impatiently till this book drops. The last one had Norse mythology with a nice twist and this one promises dragons! I know what I’m doing August 15th ^^ And I hope that looking forward to this book and reading Dead Radiance will make the change from weekend to Monday less awful. I, personally can’t wait till it’s Monday: I’ve got a wedding to go to ^^

Interested? You’ll have to wait a few days more untill you can buy it. To quench your thirst, here’s where you can get Dead Radiance.

Edit: And here’s the link to Dead Embers!
