Blue Mondays (3): Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

Blue Mondays

Monday mornings are the toughest mornings. Knowing the weekend is over and you’ll have to go to school or work again… But here is my solution: Blue Mondays!  Every Monday I will pick an awesome book, which I hope will make the week almost bearable for you. Cause reading it will make you forget about everything else! And before you know it, weekend has started once again ^^
Inheritence by Christopher Paolini

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Today, on my way to school, I was thinking about all the things I have to this week and was very happy that at least my site was up to date. Till the moment I realised today was already Tuesday and I didn’t post a Blue Monday yesterday… *slaps face* How could I forget to do that? Oh well, at least it isn’t already Friday and the book I planned to post (at least I already thought about that ^^) would be published today. Does someone already know which book I’m talking about? Okay the green cover kinda betrays it, of course I’m talking about Inheritance by Christopher Paolini!

I’ll probably have to wait a while before I’ll be able to read it. I plan to get the Dutch version of this book, just like the other books I have, and that one isn’t published yet. Moreover I’ve put it on my holidays wish list. But if I don’t receive it then, I’ll go asap to the nearest book store and buy it. And afterwards read the last chapter first. Yes, I’m one of those people who can’t stand the tension and ignorance ;). But please don’t tell me spoilers, I wanna read it myself ^^I’ve loved this series from the first book and although I’m sad there won’t be a next one I so hope this book won’t disappoint me ^^
